How do I know if hair extensions are right for me?

First, you need to book an appointment for a consultation with a qualified hair extension specialist. The specialist needs to see your hair first hand to determine if your hair type and texture is suitable for hair extensions. Then, once your stylist decides that hair extensions are a perfect fit for you, they can give you detailed pricing information.

How far in advance do I need to book an appointment?

Once you have consulted with your hair extension specialist and decided which method you are going with, your hair stylist can advise as to when the soonest appointment is available. If you already have extensions in your hair that need to be removed, allow for extra booking time for an extension removal.

In most cases you will need to book your extension appointment at least three to five days from the time of your hair extension consultation. The extension hair is custom ordered and is usually delivered within three to five business days.

Will hair extensions damage my hair?

Will the hair extensions blend with my own hair color?

Based on which method you choose, your hairdresser can do a custom hair color match and order multiple colors of extensions (if needed) to blend seamlessly with your hair color. Our extension specialists are also colorists so they have the ability to custom color match the extensions as needed.

Do I need a special haircut after the hair extensions are put in?

YES. You always need a haircut following the hair extension application. The haircut ensures that your hair extensions will blend flawlessly with your hair.

How long do hair extensions last?

Hair extensions last anywhere from eight to twelve weeks*, depending on which method of hair extensions you choose and how you care for your hair extensions.

Will I need to use special products or tools to care for my hair extensions?

YES. In order to achieve the longest lasting results your hairdresser will recommend certain products and tools for your aftercare.

Will I need to use special brushes or combs to care for my hair extensions?

YES. In order to achieve the maximum benefits of your new hair extensions, your hair stylist will recommend certain brushes and combs for your aftercare.

If I purchase hair extensions myself can a stylist put them in for me?

Most hair extension specialists do NOT recommend applying extensions this way unless they are temporary clip-in extensions for a special occasion. The color match and quality of the hair and bonds is never guaranteed when you purchase hair from an outside source.
